Pick-ety Pick Pick!

I feel like that's all that I'm doing these days. Picking. Weeds, Runners, STRAWBS! Bugs - more like smacking them. We've picking probably over 100 quarts by now, which is really exciting. Finally all that work pays off. We have picked *thinks for a moment* about 30 quarts from our NEW plants we planted this year! We stopped tonight because our backs were crying "STOP!". There are on average 2 berries per plant, on just 10 of the rows. Honeoye Strawberries are the firs to really berry out of the ones we planted this year. Mostly that's what we've been picking, though we picked another 7 quarts from the patch aside from his home today as well. It's really refreshing and encouraging when someone says "these are the best berries I've ever had" or "I don't even like strawberries normally, but they smelt so good I tried one and I couldn't stop eating them" Makes the work, well worth it. : )
-If only you could try some-

The kick-off for God's Kids Ministry in Rodman was last Sunday. We have 7 kids who are signed up, grades pre-k through 4th grade! I'm getting really excited to get it all that going. It was storming the night of the sign-up so, I am praying that God will put it on other parents' hearts to bring their kids even though they didn't make it to sign up. Pray along with me please.
James spoke on Sunday, because Pastor Dave was out of town. He is also speaking this Sunday as well. He spoke about the original body of Christ was like and how it formed The Church. He gathered everyone in the first four rows and encouraged everyone to state something they would like to see change or brought back that would make this Body of Christ like the one when it first started - as it should be. So they all stated something and his last words were encouraging them to get whatever was laid on their hearts started or to start the process of making it happen. They all really liked it and were surprised that many people thought as they did and supported their idea.

James, Nathan, (James's brother - if you haven't figured that out yet) James's Mom, Gail, and I went bowling last night, just for fun. It really was a blast! We played two games, but the first was just a warm up for all of us. James won. As for the second game, everything heated up! James and I were tied for literally all of the game, until I couldn't handle the pressure on the 10th frame and couldn't beat his spare. Nathan and Gail were also tied most of the game, until Nathan built from the pressure and hit just about every pin after the 8th frame. It was really fun to get both Gail and Nathan out with James and I.

P.S. I beginning to talk like "them"

Examples:

"Ant Betty" is coming out of my mouth instead of AUNT Betty.

"Lois is at camp." Translated in "Minnesotan": "Lois is at her cabin."
Translated in "Heuring": Lois is up north."

Perhaps you should call me, so I can stay in touch with my native tongue. ; )
