New York-ifide!

My car has been such a blessing to me, I've had it for almost a year already, but it still seems new to me! As September approached and my tabs were about to expire it was time for me to decide: Do I New York-ify the Sebring ?

870.AGD...

...no longer.

It's quite a process to New York-ify a car. Especially since the systems are run differently. Here in NY every car that is driven on the road has to pass a car inspection. Which is good, because now everyone knows the comfort I know. I've been blessed with a Dad who gives me comfort driving a car that I know is safe to drive, NY requires it. Too bad, I can't have the best inspector do my inspection.

During the car inspection, The Sebring had the following checked:

~Seat Belts~
~Brakes~
~Steering~
~Suspension~
~Frame~
~Tires~
~Lights~
~Glass~
~Windshield Wipers~
~Mirrors~
~Horn~
~Fuel Leaks~
~Emissions Test~

I passed, rather my car passed! The inspector said "Whomever had it last took great care of it" I was proud to talk about my dad who had fixed 'er up and made it look as good as it did. Since the person who had it before me, ran the car out of oil...not exactly great care!

Thanks Dad, you're the best! Whenever there was a problem with my car, you practically dropped everything and took a look, talk about ideal service!

In the mist of getting my car New York-ified it was also time to New York-ify my driver's license. Not just because I would eventually have to, but my MN license was soon to expire. I wasn't as nervous for my car to pass the inspection, as I was for me to pass the eye exam. I don't know why, but I always get very nervous when I have to read that thing! Something about the quietness of the DMV office, my voice reading over the letters that I might say wrong, and the line of people hearing me. Needless to say, I passed. Being so, the DMV lady took my MN license, which I was very sad about ...I wanted to keep that. Not only did she take my MN license, she gave me this:

A paper I.D. Talk about feeling like I'm 15! Man it's been so long since I had my driver's permit, but it sure brought back memories!
Then the day before my 21st birthday I received this in the mail:

An official New York Driver's License! I signed the papers and I'm a donor! See the little heart? Also, in NY they don't put their weight in the list of info...I thought that was strange, but I guess not necessary.

So, I guess you could say I'm all New York-ified!

Did I seriously just write a post about me ca
