my parents
are
Married:
- They are a true testimony of love.
- Their a good team. She makes me great food and he fixes anything that's broken
(trust me, that's not all they do for me) - I wouldn't be who I am today, without them.
- Their personalities, strengths and weaknesses compliment each other very well.
- It makes me happy when I see them hug and kiss in the kitchen.
- Without them together, I would never exist, nor would my three great brothers!
- They've taught me how to love, even when it's not always easy to.
- They have provided a very stable home and environment for me to grow up in.
- I wouldn't have such great looks, without them...
- God has used each of them together to do great things.
- I couldn't imagine life without them happily married.
- There is nothing like seeing both my parents get off a train, racing to greet me with hugs.
- They have set an example of what God designed marriage to be.
- They have given me hope for my future that true love does exist and it does last.
- They make family gatherings very fun, full of laughs, and lots of hugs.
- They have shown me how to raise a family to love the Lord and serve Him in everything.
- They have been there for me in ways that I don't think would be possible if they weren't married.
- They are happy together and it's noticeable!
- They have taught me a healthy balance of work and play.
- I love them so much, and I'd hate to have it any other way!
- They have a respect for one another and a trust that is unbreakable.
- I would have learn even more things the hard way if it weren't for their guidance.
- Growing up without either of them would have drastically changed my life.
- They are a source of love that I'll always need in my life.
- They have shown me what the roles of a man and a woman are inside a marriage.
- They are like shampoo and conditioner, they fine on their own but are far better together!

Fall '08
(This was after the hugging, of course!)
I'm proud of them for still being married, sticking with each other through the thick and the thin, loving each other not matter what, proving to me that it's possible for two people to be in love even after so many years together!
I love you Mom and Dad, so much!
Thanks for being the parents you are and have been.
For loving each other like you do.
It's a true honor to be your daughter and
to witness the love you share.
It will be a blessing to watch the many
more years of love between the two of you!
May God continue to bless your marriage!

WOW!I feel blessed and honored to have been spoken about like that. Thank you so much you sweet girl. It's been easy to be married to your dad. He treats me so good, hugs and kisses me often, tells me he loves me often, takes me on lots of dates, likes to spend time with me, thanks me for things I do around the house, (especially the food I make, he appreciates a good meal on the table) he never gets mad, and he likes to joke around. The list could go on and on. I'm blessed God gave him to me. I pray HE blesses us with lots more years together. Only death will do us apart. And the great thing is I know we will spend eternity together worshiping our Savior.
ReplyDeleteThanks again Anna for your sweet words, you are a HUGE blessing in my life.
Mom
I love it. And your parents sound a lot like mine! Happy Anniversary!! In an age when marriage sometimes seems so disposable to so many, it's an honor to see long withstanding, Christ-centered marriages! Congrats! Anna, you should be proud of your parents!
ReplyDelete(And once again, the comment above, AMAZING! Speaks even more highly of your parents!)
