Remi (3) said about her brother while he was being silling: "He is a crazy head!" Then she stopped to think about what she just said and took a look at us adults. "Crazy head isn't a naughty word, no.." and shakes her head.
Jasmine (6) innocently said, "I really like little girls." after we told Remi that Jasmine would like it if she played with her. - I know it's not really appropriate, but just the fact she was so innocent about it, gave us a bit of a chuckle.
Savannah (3) said with confusion, while I was reading a book to her about the opposites High and Low, "High.....sounds like....hi? Like when you wave hi? Right?"
Shaelin said to me as she pointed to my neck, "You are skinny!" I thought it was awfully nice of her to not call me fat as some kids do without really know what they're saying.
Remi (3) said after I taught her how to play Tic-Tac Toe: "Can we play Pic-Pac Poe again?" I told her the game was called Tic-Tac Toe. "Can we play Pic-Pac Toe again?" Again, I stressed the T, telling her it was Tic-Tac Toe. After a few tries of saying it, she finally said it correctly and we played again. She one.
Julia (2) said while holding chalk close to her mouth "Smoke." - again probably not appropriate, but she hardly says anything so it cracked us up that she knew to say that while "pretending to".
Kyla told me where her daddy works. "He works at Appo" (as in Apple) "oh he does, huh?" "yeah he works at Appo, no...I mean Appobees" "oooooh!! Applebees"
Jasmine (6) says to me as she hands me some play-do "Here, I made toridos!" "Is that a combo of torillas and doritos?" she laughs and says "Oops, I meant torillas!"
Savannah (3) said to her uncle, "you can come to my house, if you don't tickle me, because that makes me go potty!"
